Brown in the subject line (use the full name, Tommy is not the only "Elder Brown" in the mission) and do not use any attachments. The mission office will print and give to the missionaries each week, so it is more efficient than mail or DearElder. You can write him any time for free now! He is extremely busy, so he may not write back soon, but know he will love hearing from you. He gets only 30 min. a week to email us, but he may mention something in his weekly email. They are all posted here.
